And you would be wrong. The greens the pros play there are easier to play than when the public plays. Smooth as can be. Not as much for the public.

I also don't know why you guys make this argument that we would just walk out on the course. Shouldn't we be able to get the same prep? I played poorly and never saw the course. Didn't know where to aim and shot 75 with some wind.

whooooey ... ain't the net great ...

Oh and by the way, anybody that talks about Nitro, or their favorite golfer is their favorite golfer because they can bomb it, is a dead giveaway for a guy who isn't very good at golf.

Obviously you are clueless.

You do know the green speeds they play are the same we play every day.

Don't they cut them a little shorter and make sure it's ridiculous based on the stimpmeter?

Don't mind not putting them in the title if that's the consensus. Anyone else agree with this?

Can't at St. Andrews. They were running a 10. Not fast at all. They also don't make the greens harder. All depends on weather. They are as soft as ever for the pros today. Harder and faster when I played, due to weather.

So you shot 75 on a course you didn't know, in tougher conditions than what the pros had, on worse greens?

Why aren't you playing the game for money?

I said playing with the crowds is tougher. By the way, we were talking about the morning no wind conditions. Wasn't 75 almost the worst score? I did have an easier wind direction.

Watching the coverage again and apparently I missed Arnie's interview the first time. Clip they showed was maybe 60 seconds but before it ended I had a tear stream down my cheek.

I can't fricking keep it together when old people talk like that.

The people there just love David. He was right. Golf over there is just better. It's more special. The fans appreciate it more.

That's too bad. I was going to suggest a friendly 18 holes for a hundred a hole.

Couple things...

Why were many of the stands only half full? Not only is that weird to me because of this being a major, but it's hard to get around there. Figured the stands would be packed.

And I've been reading about how the crowd is so respectful(they are) and don't scream all the stupid shite like they do in the states. I watch famous rounds from past tourneys on YouTube fairly often and they most certainly do scream the stupid shite after shots. Didn't hear any today though.
