And seems very confident. Spieth got it.
Well tomorrows weather looks bad in the morning.. Spieth plays in the afternoon, Higher winds will meet him there........ But he seems like he is on the right track though.. I am impressed with this kids persona.... Seems like he just enjoys himself out there... A breath of fresh air shall we say.......

Another $100 that I could name 5 on this board that would beat him tips and down by at least 7 shots.

You guys and your predictions of my golf game without even seeing me hit..... I don't get it.

if you are in a money game with your 5H with the top 10 golf posters on this board, I would wager that you lose 10/10 matches...and I would probably win that bet with some ease.
Popping off as a 5H about competing on the front of a major is not good sense. Do you realize that as a 5H, on average you would not make most D1 collegiate rotations for tournaments? But you could hang at SA??

It's because you're a 5, probably from the member tees, at courses that aren't set up anywhere near how a tour event is set up.
How many courses have you played with 4 inch rough 2 feet off the green?
LaTour had a qualifier for the Zurich Classic, and the lowest 3 scores were 63,64,64, on a course they had never seen.
You're comparing apples to transmissions

My home course is 7,300 yards from the championship tees (where I hit from). It has hosted numerous us amateur qualifiers as well as us open sectionals. The rough is between 2-6 inches throughout the course. Very narrow fairways. The greens are ridiculously fast as well. So yes, when I was able to shoot under par there 3 times last week, my confidence is up. Like I said, my handicap hasn't been updated, I'm sure it's much closer to scratch after this past week.

You have 6 inch Bermuda rough in Florida?

7300 yards, tight fairways and 6 inch rough, where you broke par in three rounds......and you may be a 5?

Told you all that next time I am in Louisiana I would like to challenge you.

We can play TPC, a course the pros destroy, from the 1 ups and a 5 wouldn't break 85 under tournament conditions

There it is again. Hell, at this point I think you might have a push cart and head covers on your irons.

He needs to post a swing vid and quit being a lil' nerd.

Because I say hit instead of play? Wow. Yup. Push cart and head covers on my irons. I also use my cart bag when I walk a course.

Some of us can golf. Some of you can just hack. Some of us have played St. Andrews and understand that other than the crowds, you can't change St. Andrews to make it tournament tough. Can't make the greens fast and only so much you can do with pin positions. St. Andrews is not that tough in low wind conditions.

i've played st andrews, and no, it's not a 'tough course' as the public plays it, which is about 6500 yards ... with slower greens ... i'm about a 5 and i shot 81 ...
people on the internet with legit hcp of 0-5 (or whatever) could not beat a professional golfer ... could not shoot 80 at st andrews or any other course with a professional set up ... could not focus better because they're playing with pros ...
ever ... that's why you're on the frickING INTERNET ...

Man, GTFO with this shite

And you would be wrong. The greens the pros play there are easier to play than when the public plays. Smooth as can be. Not as much for the public.
I also don't know why you guys make this argument that we would just walk out on the course. Shouldn't we be able to get the same prep? I played poorly and never saw the course. Didn't know where to aim and shot 75 with some wind.
