Read what I quoted. He was making excuses for our BCS wins. Unfortunately, I couldn't make any excuses for his, because there aren't any wins.

I wonder how OSU would do if after tonight's game they had LSU the next week in Columbus, went to Alabama the next week then followed up with, say MSU in Columbus and on the road at Auburn. You wouldn't get to half of the BCS bowls you do now.

The SEC's a brutal stretch, no doubt. Just to play Devil's Advocate, in your example, you'd have to take out one of the teams (for example, if you're trying to talk about how tough it is for LSU compared to OSU in the Big Ten, you can't include LSU in here, since they don't play themselves). Also, the chances you play these teams all in a row is basically impossible. And finally, even a 2-loss season would get OSU in a BCS bowl game, and 1-loss likely in the NCG, so there is some advantages there.

OSU fans are the most miserable and annoying bar none. They have a long list of excuses for each and every loss that never changes

We won

Let us enjoy it for a night.

Congrats OSU. You were only 7 dropped passes from losing the game.

Both teams made mistakes, you can't blame it on dropped passes.

We beat an SEC team that ran the gauntlet of the SEC and was good enough to make it to a BCS bowl. Just sayin, don't make excuses when we win.

Good for you Jim, Go Bucks.

The point is that your conference is garbage, therefore any team that can beat those half asses is going to get the BCS bid. Say what you want but you know the entire country realizes you're merely a good team that benefits from limited competition. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed Bucks are kings.

Catching the ball is part of the game . OSU can come up with a shitload of similar excuses for letting the game getting close. A missed block on third down, a missed block on the punt

We beat the second best team as was proven on the field in the SEC. To say that Arkansas is a mediocre team is slight on the SEC. They are a very good team.

But then when we get to a BCS game we win .666 of them. Which is kind of good, no?

That's an Ole Miss schedule, so it's reasonable. Throw in Florida, Vanderbilt and South Carolina for good measure.

Ohio State won the first half, Arky won the second half.

We won by more in the first half.

Game.
