but you wanted ingram?

I'm not saying the guy is an all-pro. But he is the type of power RB that will open up Reggie and the passing game that the Saints were missing this year.

I'd kill for a power back this year. Ingram was the best available. He can take a pounding and leave defenses wondering what Brees was going to do next.

I just feel like the Saints passed up a RB that has the skills of Pierre Thomas but better.

2nd rd value? Maybe. But it is something New Orleans needs. Ivory fumbles too much. He's a backup, IMO.

and jenkins has failed at CB and already has been moved. that's a miss

I wouldn't call Jenkins a miss but I would have put Ellis on the miss list.

He is horrible against the run, decent pass rusher for a DT but certainly not a top 10 pick

Exactly, he ran like a 4.6 at the combine.

I would take a chance on Mallett here.

Yall can eat shite. Jordan is a great talent and there aren't a ton of great 4-3 left ends out there. Mathis, maybe Edwards, can't even tell you who would be 3rd. It's not as important a position but it's still a great value.

No way Jenkins is a miss. I get what you're saying that he was drafted as a cb, but he was great last year at safety and the saints knew he would probably be a safety.

Anyway I like the Jordan pick. Bowers knee must be fricked and we can get a solid rb later.

actually a decent point... terrible rb class this year...

That doesn't change the fact that he his a top RB prospect.

He said he's a third rounder any other year.

2010: I'll give you Spiller over him. But I'd take him over Ryan Matthews, Jhavid Best, Dexter Mcluster, Monterio Hardesty, Ben Tate. Your telling me Ingram is supposed to fall in line after most of those guys? Don't give me that third round crap. Do I need to do this for more years?
