Every day,” Rockets guard Austin Rivers told Feigen when asked about Harden’s work ethic and commitment to his craft. “I was shocked. I’ve been around a lot of stars. They all work their [butts] off to get there. Everybody has different routines. James has shocked me because usually a guy like that, between games will just get shots up. Usually, guys like that that, with that usage rate, it’s more about recovery.

James lifts after every game, like hard lifts. He runs the stairs after practice. He works on his one-on-ones every day after practice. He works on the same moves, every day, every single day. This is a guy who makes $60 to $70 million a year with endorsements…will be worth over a half a billion when he’s done playing basketball, and he works like he has nothing. That’s inspiring.”

Please point out where in his post that he said Harden isn't the last one in the gym dipshit? He said he's a spoiled child, which in fact, he is.

For an "English major," your grammar and reading comprehension is constantly laughable.

I mean you could probably write a similar story about every superstar player in the league

Nah man, this is a whole different level. It's one thing when you have says in team construction, etc. But I've never heard of Lebron, Giannis, Curry, KD, AD, etc, etc being late for film sessions, practices, travel, riding off to Vegas in between games, and shite like that. This is really eye opening. And probably why he'll never win a title (unless he rides the pine for an elite team late in his career to chase one).

Andy bogut

Another interesting tidbit about the @NBA landscape: CAA Agency represents both Players and Media Talent (Mainly @ ESPN). Does it surprise you that certain players have more positive stories/press? Its clear as day once you know what to look for.

This explains a lot.

Does anyone remember when Arizona State made the tournament Harden’s sophomore year? I’ve never seen a supposed All-American look any less interested in a win or go home basketball setting. He’s still the same guy.

Damn, I never realized that.

Just looked it up, 2 games in the tourney he shot a combined 3 for 18. He scored less points in the 2 tourney games combined than his season avg.

He's always been that dude, it's just who he is.

I remember watching then with a friend and we were saying who is this lazy dog just jogging around with no interest. It's why I was stunned he became so good.

The guy who is the same is Chris Paul.

At wake forest, #2 seed, loses in rd 2.
In nba, anytime he is the lead player he Loses in rd 2 (at best).

It was only when he played second fiddle, was he able to make it out of the second round.

Same goes for russ. Couldn’t get out the first rd for 3 years as lead player, even with the 3rd place MVP on his team. It was only when he took a step back to robin, did his team advance.

notice how both of these guys requested trades to play for former coaches, so they can have their way like they use to. they want to be the big dog in the locker room more than they want to win. Too much ego. They couldn’t take it that harden was not only much better on the court, but he also had a lot more stroke off the court.

That's just flat out embarrassing. It's not at all surprising to see he hasn't changed a bit and obviously won't ever

Ok, let’s be real. The pac 12 is garbage outside of like 2 UCLA teams in the past 30 years

His team was way overmatched and at that point there really is no point in getting hurt

Yes it fits a trend but I’m not gonna hate on being a trash pac10 team losing to a tested tourney squad

So now your arguments are about postseason team accomplishments WBB?

Great. Let’s put all of harden’s on the table that make him the #1 player in the league, according to you.

Problem is that they are turning this around after Harden got several years older and they blew a ton of assets to put stars next to him then traded them off for pennies on the dollar.

It is essentially a version of the treadmill. You will win enough to put yourself in the playoffs but not enough to win it all and not be able to restock because your picks are too late thinks to winning so many games.

Imagine thinking the hardest worker on the team, who “inspires” his teammates is somehow a bad leader? That is some next level mental gymnastics.
