Wrong. Why do you think D'Antoni and Morey are gone? If they were going to continue appeasing Harden 110% those 2 guys would still be around and Harden wouldn't be demanding a trade.

and given what we know about how lebron takes care of his body, since he was literally a teenager, i feel like theres a decent chance it wont happen for a few more years outside of a total major injury like an achillies

Every player will fade with age no matter how well they take care of their body. There will come a time. Lebron will just be longer than most because he is a freak of nature that also does everything 100% right in terms of his body and preparation. He was ahead of his time with that and does a really great job with it.

Its the one and only thing I hope Zion can learn from Lebron and start spending millions a year on his body and preparation.

oh for sure

it's just a lot later (already) for LBJ

and will be a lot earlier for Harden

Odds are against him to even finish out this contract at a remotely high level. No player in league history will have as many miles on them as him by the end of it.

But if any player can do it, it is him.

Lebron had to trade away half the roster at the mid point of the season

Houston mortgaged its entire future to downgrade from Paul to Westbrook for 1 year because that’s what harden wanted.

that situation was worse than this.

Show us where Lebron ever kept one of his team’s entire season in limbo by demanding a trade, only wanting to be traded to certain teams, and purposefully missing team activities because of it.

After you fail to do that, we’ll start addressing the actual contents of this article.

Also, no team lebron ever played on was as good as the 08 rockets,

Every Miami team and the fully healthy cavs teams with Irving and love were definitely better than the 18 rockets.

Making harden also a better GM when his team isn’t decimated by injury.

Because he failed to even lead his team to the nba finals, again, that year despite facing a team golden state team decimated by injury? ok WBB

im basically in full "ill believe it when i see it" mode with him. i think theres a decent chance hes still a fairly high caliber player in 3 years baring a catastrophic injury

Morey is trying to trade for harden as we speak.

D‘Antoni new team, is trying to trade for harden.

That tells you all you need to know.

I think that's all you can do with a player his age with his mileage, but he is a freak of nature so its definitely possible.

It isn't the same because he won't have the same control over the next organization he joins.

There's absolutely no doubt that James Harden is one of the top players in the NBA and works on his game in the offseason and plays hard every night. Maybe a new team is just the perfect shake up for him. No more enabling by the Rockets.

I also don't want Ben Simmons. There's no path forward for point guards who are no shooting threat.

Performance related, not robin worthy.

Chris Paul games 1-5 vs GS last season:

14.6 PPG
6.4 RPG
5.6 APG
39.3% FG
27.6% 3P

Winning cures all, if Chris holds up his end of the deal, they win the title, and Chris is back.

We never got leaked details of what happened in Cleveland. it was worse than this though, Judging by how even d wade said get me the hell out of here.

They all had a worse net rating, and all had a less efficient offense.

Simmons is a top 15 player, under contract for 5 more years, and is first team all defense. Only Giannis received more 1st place votes. You need to surround him with shooters, and especially a stretch big.

RTR America self banned himself from talking NBA basketball 5 years ago for claiming Lebron was nearing his physical end.

I’d hate for you to go through the same thing.

Paul was so crushed by being traded, he decided he had to make major changes to his lifestyle. He went vegan and lost a bunch of weight. And he stayed healthy. Again, this goes back to CP3 holding up his end of the deal. Paul had to get shipped out of town to get a wake up call.

Simmons is not a top 15 player without an outside shot..... this would be a horrible move for the Rockets.... AND Harden still won’t win a title in Philly......

Right, not my favorite guy, but I would never question his desire to win and his focus on basketball.

This. Harden is a POS. He’s done nothing to back up his demands in post season play. I watched two collapses. Once against OKC in 15 or 16. And a second I can’t recall. These were the two biggest folds I have ever seen by a star player in a game 7 situation or one was a down 3-2 game 6. He folded. Would only pass. It was comical to watch. Still dribble the shot clock down to under 10 but not shoot. Dish it to a guy who is shocked and expect magic.

frick that guy.
