If you want to make a buck, put them down as central division champs.

Their rotation and bullpen is better than the cubs - significantly better.

Their lineup is undervalued. Grichuk and Piscotty aren't accounted for like they should be. Diaz is the real deal. Peralta wasn't healthy at all last year. Adams has upgraded himself big time, he and Gyrko are legit home run guys who aren't even starters.

They have a very nice stockpile of surplus in certain areas which will afford them leverage when trying to acquire any need that arises.

You don't want to believe it now but it is true. You will be shown the truth.

Cubs bounced the cards as the wild card two years ago so in case you're prediction comes true still won't matter.

Depends on if the rotation can stay healthy.

They have been a mess

Cubs bought their championship last year

Spent spent spent on free agents and such

No such magic this year

So which is it? Lucky or they bought good players?

Didnt yall lose Reyes like the first day of Spring Training? How big of a loss will that be?

As for the OP: We will have to wait and see, the Cubs are set up to be very good again over the next few years, the rotation is older but they have the resources to make a play for a big ticket guy.

I will agree with you on Piscotty, he has feasted against the Cubs, and though he struggled in the Spring, he could have anothee big year

Not sure how you luck into winning 103 games. You just sound bitter.

Depends on Wacha who will be taking Reyes spot in rotation. See if he can regain some of that 2013 magic.

You'll learn what a couple years of running deep into the playoffs can do to arms.

Your rotation is aging and particularly average as you get down to the 4th and 5th spot. Your early and mid relief isn't exceptional either.

Lester without Ross is a real cause for concern.

Arrieta had a flash in the pan. He and Lackey are great candidates for a big drop-off.

I think Arrieta may tail off a bit. Hendricks will be as good as he was last year. I think that guy will be a stud for a long time.

Maddon will be very cautious with innings, especially with Lackey. Expect Mike Montgomery to pick up starts again

If I had to guess. Cards will probably be around 87 wins. Cubs will be around 95
