The B1G and PAC-12 have taken a disaster and, instead of mitigating fall out, they’ve multiplied it. I don’t really see those two conferences playing football this spring. There are too many logistical hurdles that I don’t think they can realistically overcome. Furthermore, if they do play most players who are draft eligible will likely opt out to prepare for the NFL combine. This includes Heisman hopefuls like Justin Fields. ? To make matters worse, a spring season will likely resort in a shorter fall season for those two conferences allowing COVID-19 to adversely affect not one but TWO football seasons. Finally, no matter what they do now, the recruiting fall-out from this shake up will be insurmountable. I expect it will put the B1G and Pac-12 years behind the rest of D1, maybe even a decade. By canceling their fall seasons they are effectively sentencing themselves to their own (NCAA) Death Penalty, à la SMU 1987.

What would you say if I told you no one will be playing college football this fall?

I would say that the cancel-conferences prayers have been answered. Because you know they’re down on their knees about that every night right now. It’s the only way they avoid disaster.

That said, it’s looking more and more likely that there will be some form of college football this fall. Probably without fans.

Your pansy arse conference bailed at the first open opportunity it could find : the BS "long term effects" trick.
Don't now try to sabotage the rest of the country due to your mistakes

Big10 and Pac12 will use all resources possible to stop ACC, SEC and Big12 from playing. They will fall so far behind is recruiting and money if they allow them to play this year

I’d say you are mentally searching for some way to see a way forward where the Big 10 didn’t commit suicide

Ad hominem much?

I’m not dumb or unintelligent. It’s true that the B1G and PAC-12 are more than just praying that football season gets canceled for the rest of the conferences. They’ll go to any length they can to make sure if it. They know if the SEC, Big-12 or ACC plays this fall it will deal a devastating blow to their schools.

Hold on for a bit.. Every conference will end up canceling the Fall. Just mark these words. They are all driven by cucks who fear their own shadow. Not a leader in the bunch.

As soon as 1 student tests positive they will all. Fold to the manufactured media hype.

It hasn’t happened in some other sports. Kids are playing high school athletics. Golf has had several people get it and they go on. I don’t think the schools that play will be able to fold as easily as you suggest. If they thought there would be 0% contracting the virus then they are idiots. They just have to own that the kids are less likely to get sick in this highly structured environment than in other places.

Correct.

The B1G is in the pathetic position of rooting for other conferences to get hit with covid

I disagree..... the fallout won’t last ten years... maybe two........ but they are doing what they think is right to protect all involved.... it’s the super sports fans that are the ones upset about this whole situation... but hey there is a TON you can do without college football..... just sayin.

They are absolutely hoping the other conferences cancel their season as well. They thought they were going to be leading the pack on this. They were blinded by their own arrogance.
