The #Browns and star pass-rusher Myles Garrett are closing in on a 5-year extension worth $125M, sources say. Another massive deal, this time for $25M in new money per year. Their top priority of this offseason and they are in the final stages. ??????

Details on the extension for the #Browns and Myles Garrett: In his rather large 5-year, $125M extension, there are $100M in total guarantees and $50M fully guaranteed at signing. He’s now under contract 2026.

10 million dollar bonus for every honkey he takes care of. deadspin praises the browns for the focus on bringing about revenge and settling the score against the white devil

When you can consistently get to the QB, you can afford to be a gigantic shite head apparently.

Honestly I can overlook the use of a helmet as a weapon part. Serve your time, apologize, fine, get another chance to behave like an adult.

But slandering a guy with a completely fabricated and stigmatizing claim in a league obsessed with racial issues - and facing absolutely no consequences for it - is hard to get past IMO.

Couldn't this be said all across the world of business. There will always be a line that goes too far, but people that are deemed to be highly valuable assets get allowances that they probably shouldn't.

What in the hell are you talking about?

He committed assault. With what amounts to a weapon.

He should’ve served jail time.

And somehow you think accusing Rudolph of racism was the real sin?

I despise that league, but I just don’t understand your take at all.

He was punished for one and everyone (the league, the team, etc.) was largely silent on the other.

Whether or not the punishment was sufficient is another question entirely. But football is a hostile game and in general, I think fighting and dirty conduct should be forgivable with the right punishment.

I'm not saying he should be banned for the lie about the slur either, but he should face consequences for blaming his victim.

He hasn't played since it happened. How did he earn anything?
