Since the success/luck of 2021, AA's dumpster diving moves have been horrid.

Factual statement. Downvotes are mouth breathers.

And to be clear, me saying the dumpster diving moves are horrid isn't a reflection on AA's ability to recognize talent.

95% of dumpster diving moves are going to be horrid. Because the players are either past their prime or just shite players.

The problem is that AA keeps thinking that because it worked in 2021 that it would continue to work in the future. He doesn't seem to recognize just how lucky we got that Soler, Rosario, Duvall and (to a lesser extent) Pederson all played out of their minds upon joining us for the stretch run in 2021. It's simply not sustainable and hopefully he has finally learned that lesson with how bad Duvall, Rosario and Soler have been in the time since.

We really need to keep a running tab on stupid shite that RunningJacket and Steelers say.

Keep in mind this is the same dude that said Vaughn Grissom would be a much better shortstop than Dansby.

Ha ha ha. You are a trip man. I’m sure you have your Chris Sale CY Young poster hanging in your bedroom, right next to your Dansby one.

And you’ll whine all season when we lose Fried who hasn’t pitched a decent meaningful game in over 3 years.

I love this stuff.

Serious question, why do you only come into the offseason thread?

I'm confused... you're the one who has been whining about Fried.

I feel like Soto on the Mets will backfire.

Soto is a great player and will be a great player until this current ATL team’s window is closed, so this sucks. Also, that Bonilla contract isn’t hurting the Mets and this one won’t either.

No doubt about that. But, while that makes winning the division harder as well as qualifying for the playoffs - ultimately the Braves failure as a franchise has been with how they play in the postseason. Just my .02,
but this is more of an internal “Braves problem” than it is an issue with the level of competition.

That is a lot of money, didn't think he would get over 7/175

The AAV is not really that much at all... comparatively speaking.

It's less than what Glasnow got last year.

Flu season gonna wreck his weak immune system. Maybe the bagels and delis are worth the risk for him though.

With Fried gone, the only players who appeared in the 2021 World Series that are still with the Braves are Albies, Riley, Arcia, Lee and Anderson (minors).

TBD on Minter, who we are apparently still in on despite him being a free agent.
