i’ll give AA credit on Mahle but not getting another good bat was criminal. so tired of the conservative approach when we’re in a WS window.
Even with Mahle, not getting another starter with postseason experience was shambolic.
We were a team with a legit shot to win a World Series but with some noticeable holes and he addressed next to none of them.
The fact that we went past the deadline with Martin Perez, Grant Holmes or Bryce Elder as the third postseason starter is ridiculously stupid

How much of this is Terry McGuirk?

Considering the Braves have a top 5 payroll? Not much

If other series end tonight, is there any chance they push back the game till later tomorrow, or is it locked in at 2:00pm EST?

Yes they may flex it to prime time if Sox don’t force game 3

So many dumbass moves way before this anticlimactic strikeout, but you are right. I knew he would strikeout because that's what he is. A bum on the bench who should have been released about 3 months ago
Hopefully, that was his last AB as an Atlanta Brave

Kerr or Suter will start tomorrow as an opener. I would guess Kerr. Then Holmes will come in
Going against a seasoned ace in Zack Wheeler will be a challenge.

Austin Riley, Spencer Strider, Sean Murphy and Jurickson Profar all make $15M or more next season.
Whether our season ends tomorrow or in a week in LA, get your goodbyes in because there is a average to decent chance that we blow it up in the offseason.

Nah, with Sale still going strong and the hope that year 2 post-surgery Acuna 2.0 would be similar to the first, you had one final season to see what damage you could do.
We were a team in a win-now window that didn't make win-now moves. If AA continues to refuse to address holes in the team, then this is the best that it's going to be.
Gotta start anew with a different voice.

I think Riley should bat cleanup tomorrow. That sonofabith is locked in.

Fair. I guess I should have said shakeup and not blowup. I have thought this core needed a shakeup trade for two years now.

Mahle should be allowed to line up Lee and the offense against a wall and throw fastballs at them.

We've needed a shake-up trade since letting Dansby and Fried to try and find something that at least was close to the production we were losing.
The fact that we are still treating SS like it's a LF platoon situation 4 years later still boggles my mind.

will we ever see anything outta strider again?
him and sale woulda been a nice duo for playoffs with mahle as a 3rd wheel
AA is wasting seasons again like he is prone to do.

Trade Acuna is the only thing that makes sense and is worth it for other teams.
As long as he doesn't blow out a knee in the winter ball league that is
