That game was such a microcosm of the season:

- Sale dominates but gets no run support because everybody but Harris looks lost or lackluster against a weak starting pitcher

- We get late inning heroics from an unexpected source

- Iggy makes us sweat out the save

Keep it rolling I guess

I’ll say this - I hope the fans actually show up tomorrow. A deciding game - regardless of the time - it’d be embarrassing if the stadium looked like it did today.

Asking people to take PTO from work for a wild card series game is a tough sell.

It’s the Phillies in a game to advance. Most fan bases would find a way - no excuses.

Houston has a ton of empty seats as well. It is literally walking distance from a million people in downtown.

Surely there are enough people in the Atlanta area that work nights, evenings, retirees, own their own business and do WTF they want, etc., to make a good showing in a playoff series.

Yeah if I'm burning a day it's not going to be in the Wild Card round, during football season

That was the first homer off of Duran’s fastball all season

GA state fair started today too. Nothing beats that feeling of getting checked out of school early to go to a Braves playoff game and then going to the fair on the off day between games 2 and 3.

Probably. Wasn’t like that back in the early 2000s yet.

6 million people live within a 50 mile radius of The Battery, according to the first AI I asked. I don't get it either.

That was a bad place to put it on a first pitch

Missed you guys a bunch this season, but damn what a game! Happy (severe understatement) for Austin after the season he had. He's got that clutch gene for the playoffs though. For added bonus, I thoroughly enjoyed reading pages 7-14 of this thread. Holy shite what an emotional roller coaster of a reading experience.

Oh and Braves in 2!

Braves close this series out tomorrow and Truist might have its first wet t-shirt happy hour - great win today -

what a great day. Just got home. It was really hot in the sun, woosh.

Parking at that place is stupid. Parking pass cost as much as the ticket. Absurd.

Hope to go back next week if they play LA.
