This is a good team and it’s been a great season so far… But we going to be the 3 seed and lose the NLDS in 3 games.

Not really. Lot of smoke and mirrors early. The offense is below average for the season.
AA should be on a hot seat for ignoring the black holes in this lineup for the last few years, but he won't be. He doesn't get a pass for Profar being suspended this season from me. After his first suspension, he needed to assume Profar's 2024 was a total fluke.
We need to add two real bats (not signings on the margins like Yaz) and two or three real starters this offseason.

Hyers should have been gone after last season, but he definitely better be after this one. It may not make a difference with our crappy hitters, but our approach is terrible across the board night after night.

Yeah I can't stand CJ Nitkowski. He's a know it all, condescending prick who thinks he is above fans and talks down to them regularly on Twitter, while blowing smoke up everyone's arse during the broadcast.
Radio guys are much better than TV guys. They aren't afraid to call it how they see it.

AA has been ruining things for the last 3 years. The Freddie Freeman situation initially pissed me off. (We got Olson, so water under the bridge I guess)
The Murphy trade was stupid. We had a rising Contreras.
After that, the last 2 offseasons have been baffling to me. We refused to even consider SS and ended up paying a shite ton for Kim which could have gone to a starter. We even lucked into Holmes/Martin/Elder being serviceable to this point. (We all know they are not NLCS/WS pitchers). When we didn’t go after a great starter before the deadline, I knew AA wasn’t serious about another WS.
It’s just been a piss poor approach to building a WS roster.

This feels a lot like 2024 where the pitching has to be damn near perfect most nights to win a game. A 2-0 1st inning deficit shouldn't feel insurmountable. Mahle has been pretty good tonight.

this team went 15-5 out of the ASG and beat Miami 11-3 for a season high 8 straight wins and 25 games over .500 overall - and then went to yankee stadium - it's been in a 4-6 free fall since -
