He shot 34 on the front and is in the middle of the fairway on 10. Unless I’m way behind and he shanked it on his approach.

I was watching Masters.com all morning. I go to lunch and I see ESPN on the TV. I'm thinking... great! I get to keep watching the tournament.
In the time it took me to eat I saw Marty Smith talking to Keegan Bradley, Laura Rutledge interview Bijan Robinson, another interview with Scottie, and Finau mic'd up on the range. No golf

Well yeah, I realized that after a few minutes. I just don't get why they wait so late. I'm assuming the answer is to push people to ESPN+ but I'd assume most everyone knows you can get if for free elsewhere. Why not just show the tourney?

I think the masters historically has gone wide early afternoon. They famously used to only show half the course or something a few decades ago.
The morning coverage is much newer and niche relative to the afternoon coverage.
