Why weren’t the Kelce brothers included as honorary starters?

Jack looked more emotional than usual this time. I think that may have been his last ceremonial tee shot. What a legend!

I’m gonna go ahead and get my first “I hate listening to Colt Knost” post out of the way before we even get featured groups coverage going.

I hate listening to Colt Knost.

I was listening to the Shotgun Start, and PJ said he followed Potgeiter in a practice round. On one hole, he messed up 3-4 short game shots in a row. He then pulled out his driver to get it on the green. Not a good sign.

He always has one of the wilder strokes gained charts. He's the worst chipper on Tour and basically does nothing well except hit the absolute piss out of the ball.

His chilling technique is horrific. I have no idea how it hasn’t been changed. He was the strongest right hand I have ever seen while chipping

He looked pretty wobbly/winded walking out there and couldn't bend over to tee his ball up. Wouldn't surprise me if it was his last one. Hard to believe '86 was 40 years ago.

This is not a place you want to struggle with your short game

Potgeiter may be a perfect example of why Fred Ridley is right about the need for a rollback. Actually, I think it needs more than that, but at least it's something.

He wasn't "banned", he was removed from the CBS commentary team and never asked again.

Yet he was the main on course reporter for every other CBS golf broadcast for the next 20 years.

Augusta National banned him.

I thought the same thing. He was teary-eyed as they were announcing him.

Hasnt been playing his best lately but would be a great time to find his form.

I took him out of my pool entry about 4 hours ago

Augusta National never banned him, CBS just never put him on the broadcast team. He can go to Augusta National today and they wouldn't ask him to leave.

Augusta National put pressure on CBS to remove McCord

CBS kept him on every other golf broadcast they had. It was an Augusta National decision.
