My one time at the Masters I stood behind 3 there and watched Spieth, Tiger, JT, and Freddie come through while talking to Cameron McCormick the whole time.

That whole day was a dream.

The greens being extra firm this year is causing some “bad” pitch shots. I’m liking that.

Me too. We should see some wild stuff this week.

There is no chance Spieth makes this putt

Has Koepka's aesthetic been brought up yet? It seems like he is mixing two different eras.

Someone help me out here. How are these guys making the ball roll sideways on the greens? I realize a lot of it is the greens, but these guy land a shot and the ball shoots sideways.

Spin on the ball plus slope of the green.

But it's almost like they are putting side spin on the ball. Like it's EA Sports Tiger Woods spin control.

They are to an extent. If a righty draws the ball, there will be some spin to the left. If they fade it, there will be some right spin. The slopes just make it more drastic.

at Brandel & Pride etc taking their early victory laps. I love how they quickly claim Reed & Koepka now too

3/10 of these guys were expected to do well here. Rahm & Bryson should still be around after today. It’s a bonus if Sergio, DJ, & Smith play well, but nobody was expecting much from the longshots

Shoutout to Schwartzel playing well too

It really shouldn't be much of a talking point anymore, but yesterday a couple of LIV guys played poorly and all fo the golf media stood up on their pedastools and pounded their chests.
