I was just catching up on the round. Last I saw he was at -2. Went to look at his score card and holy shite! Watched the hole recap on TM website. Yikes.

15 of the last 16 winners were inside the Top-12 after Day 1. Rory being the outliner last year in 27th.

4 back is probably the cutoff so (-1) and better have a shot at winning.

Thursday tees are always hard. But it didn't help it's extremely dry already. The golfers in the AM tomorrow will definitely have a slight advantage because of the greens not being in the sun all day.

He can still make the cut tomorrow. Probably going to have to shoot at least a (-2). If that happens, Top-20 is still possible

Cut line probably (+4) or (+5) tomorrow. Just depends how easy they make it. I don't see it getting to (+2).

It’s going to get firm and fast. I think +1 and below is for sure still in it.

Only 2 of the first 24 golfers who teed off today were under par.

Only 3 of the last 22 golfers who teed off were under par.

The other 11 golfers under par shot in the middle. Ideal tee times.

If you’re at plus 1 you’ve got to catch Rory and Scottie though. Who are way better than you and have a 3/6 shot advantage.

Not saying that’s impossible but it’s a tough ask.

If you're +3 today and shoot E par tomorrow, you'll definitely make the cut. Datagolf is suggested +4 or +5 but just depends on how hard it plays later in the day
