Trevor Immlemann has entered the conversation.
For real. As has Cabrera and Willet.
Zach Johnson’s year was literally the most boring tournament I’ve watched.

Xander is always a pro on the mic. Said he outright rooted for Tiger in 2019.

Asian players dominating the LPGA has destroyed what little interest anybody had in it.
There is a tad bit of a difference between one Japanese golfer winning one major and having something like 8 or 9 of the top ten players in the world coming from South Korea. If Augusta National can survive Charle Schwartzel and Danny Willet going Buster Douglas for one week in April it can survive Matsuyama winning. At least Matsuyama has had a history of hanging around the top ten in the world for more than two weeks.

The Hideki highlight with his interpreter talking takes a little shine off of it, unfortunately.

I wonder how pumped DJ was to have to stay through Sunday after shitting his pants and missing the cut

Why don’t they do the jacket on the course all the time? Of course, barring daylight.
Why aren’t they on the green doing it?

Literally laughed out loud at that first answer.
Eta- even DJ has to appreciate the simplicity of these replies.

It is extremely frowned upon to show unnecessary emotion.

At least when Cabrera and Willet won there were historical meltdowns by Kenny Perry and Jordan Spieth to remember. Immelmann led wire to wire and to this day I can not remember one shot he hit that whole week. He was basically Jean Van Der Velde without the 18th hole at Carnoustie.

He clearly understands English, just doesn’t prefer to speak it. I get that.

It gave him two more days to practice walking up and down the stairs at the house he rented.

Pretty sure they do it on the green afterwards as well.
