FWIW, without warming up, Tiger shot a 65 at Augusta last Wednesday. That 65 included a 3-putt on the first hole.

This is just a tease. Tiger's my favorite golfer but I'm not falling into this trap like I did last year. Would absolutely lose it if he won. Would be ecstatic if he was in contention on Sunday. Totally prepared for him to come out of the gate at even par and grind is way into the weekend.

Tee times come out tomorrow?

I am sure the Pony is going to get a terrible time and implode over something stupid.

I have some Danish marble rocks being flown in this week to heat the sauna. Tomorrow I polish the golden ladle.

I was out there today, we left a couple hours ago since we knew the weather was coming.

Pretty awesome experience.

Everyone says the elevation changes are the thing you notice first - something that TV doesn't really do justice.

The other thing they say is just how wide open the course is. The majority of holes you can miss left/right and just deal with pine straw and trees, not necessarily a lost ball.

What was your experience?

Same. They blew the horn for weather just after we left.

Did you notice all the roped off, covered areas on the fairways and some tee boxes? I have never seen that before on previous visits.

FWIW my altimeter watch said it was about an 80’ +\- drop from near the clubhouse back to Hole 13.

I'm betting on Justin Rose 12/1

His Strokes Gained rankings this year are all top 50 except for SG Off the Tee(60). #1 in putting average(1.644). His stats for Around the Green are great as well.

His results this year: 3rd, 3rd, 34th, 1st, 63rd, 8th(Players), 9th.

His last 5 Masters: 12th, 2nd, 10th, 2nd, 14th. I went back further and he's finished top 25 back to 2009- looks like he missed 2010.

The elevation drop from 10 tee box to Amen Corner is huge

Rory gonna win. You don't have to like it, but accept it. David will also be there in Sunday.

Put on lots of gold bond. I chaffed so bad last year and it was a similar type sunny day after a big rain so it was humid. Lots and lots of walking

Got out there about 8:45. Pulled out of the parking lot right at 3.

Concession damage was fairly light:

1 pimento cheese sammich
1 egg salad sammich
2 peach ice cream sammiches

While we sat on 16, Tiger hit the closest "skip it over the water" shot. But about 15 minutes before we left we heard a massive roar from that direction. Did someone sink a shot?
