Those are not majors. My point was that he may be pissed he's not going for the 3rd leg of the calendar slam like I'm sure he feels like he should be. Maybe not. I just posited it as a potential issue. I also conceded it might just be the U.S. Open (
), and if he goes out and posts a 65 or 66 in the morning he'll likely be right back in it as the field comes back in the afternoon.

Or get this, maybe he's just having a bad day and some bad breaks and this course requires a lot of luck to go with the skill. He's getting close to the pin on his approach shots but they roll a few extra feet and they become much harder putts than they would be anywhere else so he ends up with some bogeys on what would be easy par saves other places.
