Rory has too many shitty Thurs-Fri. to trust him here. I will say the way he bounced back at Bethpage and the Memorial was very positive.

The best longshot is the guy who just recently won at his 2nd favorite course and now takes on his favorite, Kevin Na

Joe Buck is 6’1” if we count the length of Aikman’s dick on his head

I’m not a big Joe Buck guy, but their broadcast is so much better than anyone else. Mainly because they show more golf than anyone else.

Lol. If you ask the players what 1 major they would really want to win it would be the Masters.

We must know different players.

Isn’t the Masters considered a more prestigious tournament than the US Open by almost everyone?

Hardly.

Masters isn't an Open.

It could be argued that many players are fed up with the way the USGA f’s with the venue. The Open across the pond stays true to the game.

I do think that Holly Sonders is still part of the team, but not 100% certain of that.

Would love to see an Am in contention as well. Really deep Am field.

Spieth has been trending lately, wouldn’t be surprised if he busts through and reintroduces himself on the biggest stage. Rooting for Phil though, what a story it’d be if he completes the career slam at a course he and his family have so much history on.

Fox Broadcast is terrible. US Open will always be known in my mind with Johnny Miller and Dan Hicks as the best. Jim Nantz and Faldo would be my second place.

I think someone like Tony Finau will break through and win this thing. I want Tiger to get it done, but he gets off to too bad a start to seriously compete. If he's only a couple back after T/F, then yeah he'd be my favorite. Also watch for D. Johnson.

And yeah I agree that is the best theme song in golf but in close second, Yanni also made this masterpiece

Dufner will finish top 5. May win, he’s gaining strokes putting the last few tournaments

My heart picks: Eldrick Tont “Tiger” Woods
My eyes pick: Rory....after seeing how well he played this week I wouldn’t be surprised if he won by a large margin
My brain picks: Bruce Cupcake

Our country’s national championship returns to possibly the 2nd most famous golf course in the world (could argue St Andrews)

Everything is sold-out; they expect a quarter of a million visitors for a County that can barely handle 276,000 people (excluding Salinas.)

Monterey will double in size over the next week. Hwy 1 will be a parking lot.

People are having to apparently commute from cities and towns 2-3 hours away to find lodging.

Tiger winning the Masters and Pebble being a bucket list destination for a lot of people is making this the largest golf tournament in history.

Hordes of tourists are descending from all over the world.
