The US Open always requires a decent bit of luck. The bottom line is the course isn’t playing unfair.
Rose has only hit 4 greens today and he has a chance to move back to +1 on the day. shite like that wouldn’t happen at the US Open if the course was “unfair” and it was all luck.

I'd like the chances of someone who starts out at +7 or +8 and shoots a 66 over the chances of someone in the final few groups who has to try to hang on to +1 or +2 going on to the back nine.

I think Azinger is right - course is mostly playing fair but a few holes and pin positions are over the line. That 250+ par 3 the other day (2? 11?) wasn’t playable with the way they set it up.

I wish Fox had shown some of the other pairings today. I feel like we only saw four pairs once the final group tees off. I know Rickie didn’t play well but they didn’t even show him until 18. Show how much some of thother popular guys are struggling.
