Meyer is the reason this defense is so bad right now. Bill Davis screwed LBer recruiting for 2 years and there was a ton of pressure to bring Coombs in as DC from him and everyone else. Coombs has been a disaster as DC

The Music City Bowl was fun because there was some semblance if defense being played in that game until an explosion of offense at the end.
This game has taken the last 5 minutes of that game and put it on steroids. It's not as fun when there is no chance of a stop on D.

Our defense was already lacking talent in the back 7 and have lost 2 starting safeties, starting corner, etc. It's not good.

Texas the last decade, LSU the last couple of seasons, UF this year all has tons of talent and screws the pooch often.
I'm not making excuses for OSU cause this defense is god awful

Yeah, from a neutral perspective this blows either CFP game out of the water. Fun is the operative word.
