Yeah I don't get it. He was what, 17 strokes better than tiger after the 2nd round?

So why the comment that Brooks was lucky he wasn’t playing with Tiger?
Because historically if Tiger is in the final paring on Sunday and his pairing partner slips up...he smells blood in the water and will make you pay
Brooks is lucky Tiger wasnt his partner yesterday, he would have made him pay
Brooks shot +4 yesterday.....
Tiger's worse round was +3

Well hiatorically if tiger is in the final pairing it means he's playing well. He's always tough to beat when he's playing well. Unless it's YE yang on the other side.

Of course, but that is bringing a knowledgeable golf perspective on to it.
Historically, Peyton Manning could pick you apart on the football field with his mind, and then do something about it with his physical skills. At some point though that ceases to happen.

Well, if we're going to be all historical, as long as Brooks had the lead going into Sunday he didn't have much to worry about from Tiger.

He’s lucky that black dude he was paired up with wasn’t named Tiger.
How many times has Tiger won a major from 7 back on Sunday?

Remember when Tiger smelled blood after the famous chip in on 16 on Sunday at Augusta “in your life...”
Yeah, he followed that up with a bogey, bogey finish to fall back into a playoff.
So don’t act like Tiger never bogeyed with a lead.

This is a stupid take. Tiger played in the two days with the easiest conditions and didn't come close to shooting par. The way Tiger drove the ball this week he wouldn't have broken 80 yesterday if you had paired him with Steven Bowditch.

with Steven Bowditch.
He was a regular at the Zurich Classic for a while

You don't know shite about the game of golf
Yep. That’s why Brooks and DJ finished 1 and 2 (as I said) and nobody else had a chance. Same with Tiger at the US Open. Course is only designed to allow the longest hitter to win. US will get blasted if they set this course up the same way in 2024.
You were so wise and noble by listening to the dang analysts that tried to cram that garbage down our throat about accuracy. The fairways were so small nobody could hit them. It was a joke to have another major on this course when we have so many other great courses.

course is perfect for guys that can keep it in the fairway and avoid the horrible rough...........
The guy that has a wedge out of the rough is going to routinely beat the guy that has 200 yards from the fairway over a 4 round tournament
