I was thinking about putting money on Brooks earlier in the week. He seemed like the lock. Never did though

I was off. Told Reauxl Bruce was winning, but had Rickie has the runner up.

Gary Woodland might have been the first golfer in the age of television to finish in the top 8 of a major and not have a single shot shown on television.

I mean, how many shots of List did they show?

He was definitely the pick this week.
His mindset and strategy in these things was perfect for this course.
I know it was easier said than done, but just hitting fairways this week was probably good enough for you to seriously contend. I’m pretty sure he just wanted to play his own form of need golf and “hang around.”
With his ridiculous talent and when sinking putts like he did on Thursday, it led to this almost arse beating of everyone in the field. His nerd golf looks much different than actual nerd golf because he’s so with a driver. But I don’t think he was trying to do anything special out there. Just hit fairways and have 18 footers for birdie on these tame greens.
He executed flawlessly for most of the week.

You basically have to be long to seriously contend with the rough the way it was this week.
Brooks and DJ have very similar games, and this were the two guys far and away better than everyone else.

I was gonna start a new thread, but why? Who will win the most majors out of Rory/Spieth/Koepka?

They showed him blade a chip across the green

Way to go out on a limb with the morning line favorite.

I'll take Spieth strickly based on his age.

But Tiger takes up all the TV time.

Koepka. Rory isn’t driven enough and Spieth has too much going on in his head.

Speith is done. I give 1-2 more majors max for his career.
He doesn't have the physical Tools.
Rory can win anytime he wants. He just don't care.

Koepka. Rory can’t ever put it all together. Spieth has the talent, but can’t shake off bad holes/rounds

Better question is who will have more majors Bruce or Tiger? Bruce should pass Jack in 7 years or so. He may end up with 40-45 major when it’s all said and done.

I wasn't gonna quite go that far, but that number is the zip code.

Lol really?
As if 4 out of the last 8 couldn’t answer that dumb question for you.

From wiki...first golfer in history to simultaneously hold two back to back major titles
Of course the date change helps that.
Sorry if already posted.
