Wrong... Play is dead.... Catcher interference they's let the play go and then team can choose depending on result.

the balk itself was borderline, but i could see it going either way. He was pretty quick to the plate.


I don't know the baseball rulebook so you may be right, but they usually stop the pitcher right when it happens and motion the runner over. They don't wait til the guy pitches and see the play result.

I agree. I didn't see any balk and I've never seen one called so late. Hell, I thought he was calling the runner safe at first.

Usually they will not stop a pitcher in motion, that leads to injury. So he let the pitch go then made the call it's not that hard to figure out.
