Teams want Brady punished for already breaking NFL rules

Tom Brady may have already broken an NFL rule in Tampa and teams want to see him punished for it
This was after he walked right in to some random guy’s house.
Given this and his past history, you think Brady is a cheater or a good competitor?

According to terms of the collective bargaining agreement, players and coaches aren't allowed to talk football, hold meetings or even look at a playbook together before the start of a team's offseason program, and since Tampa's offseason program hasn't started, Brady was ostensibly violating NFL rules when he went over to Leftwich's house.

CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora has reported that teams are "miffed" about the fact that Brady was able to meet with his offensive coordinator. Of course, it does make some sense that teams around the league would be mad. For one, the NFL postponed the offseason workout programs for every single team this year. Originally, the start date for some teams was supposed to come on April 6, but that was delayed until April 20 due to the pandemic. Under the old rules, players could have gone to their practice facility when the offseason program started, but under this year's pandemic rules, everything is supposed to be done virtually.
quote:
According to La Canfora, teams around the league have "conveyed their dismay to league officials" about Brady's meeting, and since they believe the quarterback violated league policy, the teams are "anticipating some stern discipline" for Brady and/or the Buccaneers. As one source told Pro Football Talk, what Brady did was "totally illegal."

I'm absolutely shocked that tom is doing stuff that's against the rules

Is there a non-homer who does not believe he is a cheater?

Is there a person who thinks no other QB and coaches have talked this off season?

Lol like every NFL team isn’t already breaking that “rule” every offseason anyways.
These guys just suppose to pretend that they don’t exist or know each other away from the team facilities?
Leftwich can’t even hit up Tom to ask if Gisele still hits him with that Gluck Gluck 3000?

Nothing will happen, but it is hilarious how jealous owners/coaches are of Brady. Everyone knows all of these QBs are interacting with their coaches.

The pussification of America ladies and gentlemen.

how do we know him and Byron were meeting to talk football? Players and coaches cant hang out for non-football related reasons?

Seems like a dumb rule, but that's what the NFL does. Will they enforce this like PI review?

And they played against each other. May be friends. May be one of Brady’s only friends in Tampa right now. Total non-story.

"Tom, that was wrong. Don't do it again. Do you hear me?"
"OK"
It shouldn't be anything other than that. If that.
Stupid. Absolutely stupid.

Outside of Brady breaking the rules, what exactly is the purpose of or logic behind the NFL not letting players/coaches at least meet virtually?

Oh my God. A football player and a football coach may have talked about........football. This is absolutely egregious.
