There are some rumors that they are going to trade for Trey Lance. Not sure how much better that is, but Ryans and the OC have watched him at practice for a couple of years and know what he brings. They could also take someone at #12 or trade back up into the top 10 to grab a QB that drops. They might as well take the player they think is the best at #2.

This years draft certainly seems more promising than last years in terms of QB potential. Are they just going to be keep waiting until a generational talent is available?
They also just fired their previous 2 HCs after 1 season. If Ryan is comfortable with Mills, that’s one thing. But I’d be pounding my fists on the table to get a QB knowing the fate of my predecessors. They are going to start getting shite HC candidates at some point if they don’t try to fix the QB position.
