I have no doubt Shaq is insecure like most of these athletes are insecure.

Because he cannot have a debate with Charles without using his championship rings to validate his points.

That doesn't make you insecure, just kinda cocky. He was right in the argument with or without any rings. I think he just likes F-ing with Charles.

Chuck's assertion is that THE star player and the head coach must be on the same page.

Shaq's only counter is that is not true because he and Pat Riley did not get along.

Well, Shaq ... you were not THE star player on that team. D-Wade was....I do not see how anyone who actually was alive and watched at the time would challenge this.

So ... basically, Shaq's example is toast at that point.

I do agree with Shaq that players should not be coddled ... but, that's just kinda funny ... coming from Shaq.

Inside the NBA would be just fine without Shaq ... in fact, it WAS just fine before he ever got there.

The show would SUCK without Sir Charles.

So ... STFU Shaq ... just sit there and be Shaqacatatonic like you did the other night.

Quit shaqtin a foo'

Had a minor heart attack

My guess is this is the first time you’ve seen Shaq in an argument.

In a vacuum, his use of the rings in this argument is okay because at least it’s sort of relevant. However, in the past every time he gets in argument with Chuck he goes straight to the rings even when it’s completely irrelevant to his point.

He’s definitely insecure even though he has no reason to be.

While this is all true, I guarantee Shaq does not see himself as the second guy on that Heat team

Anyone fair and unbiased can see that shaq was out of line in this debate. And as many have brought up, in other debates he engages in.

Barkley was a great player. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant.

Shaq was even better.

Shaq is a douche. They aren't playing anymore, they are analysts. Talking about your rings means nothing when talking about the Raptors vs Cavs like Charles was trying to do before Shaq just yelled over him and he never got his point across. It's all he can ever say to Chuck and it gets old.

He is an analyst now. Not a center.
