The idea that Sark is going to take time of and then come back is basically the worst move you can make. Will absolutely destroy recruiting. Haden is a complete bitch. Either keep him or fire him.

well, you don't want to admit you fricked up the hire. and you don't wanna fire the guy while he's down. so maybe it's just something until they figure out what to do

I still can't believe that Haden hired him. He was about to get canned from UW for these same issues.

Now I can't believe that Haden just didn't fire him today.

I am hoping they are contacting candidates as we speak

I wouldn't worry about it. Everybody already knows that Sark will never coach another day at USC.

From an HR standpoint, he prolly can't. Now he's dealing with a disease, and those people have protection, unlike coaches that just suck.

Therefore, USC will have to be careful as to how this plays out, so that they don't open themselves up to a lawsuit from Sark, and kill recruiting at the same time.

You can't fire an employee that comes to work intoxicated (if that's indeed what happened)?

@BruceFeldmanCFB

Am told by multiple sources Steve Sarkisian showed up in no condition to work today & #USC brass knows he needs serious help.

He didn't mean that. There are also rumors floating around that Sark announced that he was gay right as he was about to be fired.

He gone, and it's about damn time. What an absolute shite fest this has been. Haden should be ashamed of himself.

You absolutely can. Perhaps Sark asked for help first? Just speculating...

Not if that employee is an alcoholic. You have to be very careful in these kinds of situations. Offering treatment is usually mandatory.

And there seems to be a lot of evidence that he is.

Also, in politically correct CA, then you know that the employee likely has more protection than most others around the country.

Hopefully Haden will retire before the coaching search and there can be a full reset
