Steph and its not close. Kobe needed help to even make the playoffs.

only compare playoff numbers dude when discussion of league numbers.
Kobe's top 7 prime post seasons at the same age as Curry's:
Kobe: 29, 5.5, 5.5.
Steph: 26, 5.3, 6.3.
plus. Kobe defense > curry defense
also league was much slower pace then. which does matter. context always do.
also give Kobe 4-5 all Stars and think of his numbers - lmao
now sit the f down

Kobe: 29, 5.5, 5.5.
Steph: 26, 5.3, 6.3.
Also when you are on the opposite side of an argument of Mr perfect, you are on the right side
Say man, are those Chicago summers that are just as hot as Nola summers underway yet?

Ok. So Shaq... then we have Derek Fishbait. Robert broken knees Horry. Playboy Fox. Glen Ricecake and no frickin bench.
in 2004 Kobe had luxury of carrying ring chasers Post prime Malone and Gary Lost a step Payton.
do not argue lake show roster vs dubs dude. just full stop

Pride, you are looking at efficiency and totally discounting scoring. Efficiency is nice, but these guys didn't play on the same types of teams and leagues.
Steph is surrounded by sharpshooters in a system that is built for player efficiency. Kobe was in a different system.

quote:Explain this in detail. Explain how Steph making a higher percentage of shots, while also shooting from an average further distance, means anything besides he is simply better at shooting and scoring

but best thing about this thread is I need to watch full season of 2006 again to figure out what the hell happened then
Iverson. Bron. Kobe had highest scoring totals of careers that year but team points were only avg of 98?
teams avg 111 this year

this is how dumb it is to compare regular season NBA stats: harden leads Kobe in points per 100 possessions
lmao. it just a totally flawed analysis

I like Steph a lot. I would choose Kobe, as he is a top 3 player of all time.
1. MJ
2. LeBron
3. Kobe

I like Steph a lot too. I'm always saying he the key to the dubs when everyone say it KD.
But Kobe has him. . . for now

Yeah, Steph carries a roster of bums to the playoffs every year......

Ill take either and this is a solid question, but to play along, id have to take Kobe. He is the 2nd best guard in the last 30 years. MJ being #1.

Kobe because he actually plays defense
