I see we'll have the "Josh Allen has no help" card to play next year again when he chokes in the playoffs.

I mean i dont think you can blame him for what happened this year. he wasnt the one scripting a fake punt for demar hamlin.

Josh Allen’s last 10 games in totality

267 yards per game—2.6 tds/game—0.9 ints/ game

Diggs sucked dick second half of the season and the bills still went 7-3 because Allen exploded. There is a reason Allen finished third for MVP

ETA: Excuse me, fifth.

They signed a 30 year old WR and 28 year old RB coming off their worst seasons in years

It’s a bold strategy for the Texans

The "bold strategy" of utilizing the Rookie QB contract window with solid additions to make the push for a deep playoff run?

Yes, I think it’s a bold strategy to sign a 28 year old RB coming off his worst season and a 30 year old wr coming off his worst season

It’s sexy names fans fall for, but on paper I don’t see it

I wasn’t a huge fan of the Mixon deal but I do think he does some little things that need and can help them finish drives better. I’m willing to take a risk Diggs can be reenergized in a new setting and they can get a couple good years from him. He will carry a lot less of the load in this WR group

There’s a whole other side of the ball that needed more work and I think they knocked it out of the park on that front

Texans just acquired a cancer. Bad idea.

Diggs fell out with the Vikes and Bills. Story will repeat itself. Maybe he will have a decent attitude for a year or two.

Like I said your hope as a Texans fan is that diggs just quit last year. That would be the good case scenario

Your bad case scenario is he doesn’t have it anymore.

It’s hindaight but bills should have cut ties last offseason with his shite

That’s all we need, good chance that he goes off on his old team when they visit Houston.

in theory i get what youre saying but with the other talent they have the texans arent asking them to take as much of the load they had to in their previous situations (moreso diggs than mixon). I think this has a higher likelyhood of working for them than if it were someone like the broncos or cadinals that have almost nothing making these moves. Youre really just needing one to two years of production from them to try and capitalize on the window you have. Worst case you still have the pieces you had before.

That's not that good. If that was an entire season, he would be around 17-18th in ypg and Justin Fields had a better TD:INT ratio than that. His 62% completion percentage across that time frame is outside the top 20 as well.

When you add in his rushing stats Allen was elite the last 10 games. Diggs was awful the last 10 games.

That’s just how it went. And when your WR1 plays horrific you have to figure out something as a QB

Shakir outplayed diggs the last half of the season. Think about that

Diggs will leave his diva attitude in Buffalo because it won't fly with Ryans and Stroud. He'll be a good third option to have behind Nico and Tank.

He wants to be the first option is the problem. WRs overvalue themselves for the most part.

We'll see. I think he and others want to win more than anything, hence why Hunter took less money to come home instead of Indy. Stroud can make everyone happy.

I just told a friend yesterday that I think the Bills might trade Diggs, depending how the draft goes.
Obviously they got tired of his crap and had no problem eating 31 million in dead cap to get rid of him. But it also opens up $20ish million in cap space for next offseason being they trade him now instead of post June 1st.

That said, our biggest need going into the draft was already WR. Now it’s a monumental need. Anything is on the table now, trade up, trade down, etc., but I do expect the Bills to walk away from this draft with two WR’s.

Any time you can get more than a 3rd in a player trade at the NFL level for a non QB not on a rookie deal, you’re doing pretty well

Vet trade market is so discounted

I think most posters here don't really appreciate that fact. Someone should start a thread identifying all players not on a first contract that would garner at least one first round pick. I bet the list would be pretty darn small compared to the total number of NFL starters, let's say.
