Which is why it’s consensus Diggs is a diva moron

As a WR there is nothing more you can want in a qb. Guy with a cannon arm who is more than willing to throw in tight windows. He also never once criticizes his wrs. He carries their water to a fault. There were times Allen needed to call Diggs out on his shite and instead remained positive

I truly question the sanity of someone trying to put this on Allen

Allen does have a turnover issue, but I think that’s due to him playing hero ball a little too much. Granted Diggs nor Gabe Davis gave him much help during the back half of the season

Stefon Diggs had a $27.854M 2024 salary cap number with the Bills. There's $31.096M in 2024 dead money because of the trade. The Bills are losing $3.242M in 2024 cap space. Diggs is under contract to the Texans through 2027 for $75,107,941. Only $3.515M is guaranteed after 2024.

Texans are the new big threat in the AFC to the Chiefs. It was the Bengals because they had a franchise QB on a rookie deal, now the Texans are in the same situation.

Yeh, but WRs don’t give a shite about that. They want a QB willing to throw it into tight spots and give them a chance. Allen does that to a fault

Viewing this from the Diggs/Texans point of view I think him having more help in tank dell and nico collins is going to be good for him. Probably wont attract as much attention defensively since you cant really afford to do that with the amount of talent the texans have in their skill positions.

teh texans are actually handling the situation right by pumping a ton of money into the roster to give the team a better chance. Im not sure the bengals really took full advantage of the opportunity they had with rookie contract joe.

It truly is incredible what teams are able to do when you have a stud QB on a rookie contract. The roster turnaround for the Texans has been next level.

Trading him in the conference to a rising team does seem to imply the Bills think he’s done, either that or the Texans were far and away the best offer.

Always figured it would be the cowboys that ended up making this deal

Gonna be some growing pains with both Davis and Diggs gone, track record for drafting WRs there has been spotty, but Allen is uniquely equipped to play Yolo ball. Won’t feel the impact until it’s those crucial situations where those two always seemed to come up with the big play. Replacing elite weapons is always harder than it feels like it will be

The new-look Houston Texans offense:

QB: CJ Stroud
RB: Joe Mixon
WR: Stefon Diggs
WR:Nico Collins
WR: Tank Dell
TE: Dalton Schultz

Diggs was useless in the last 10 games. Bills went 7-3 in that stench. It was a no brainer to get rid of him

Last 10 games where bills went 7-3, Diggs averaged this:

4 catches per game- 42 yards per game- 0.1 TD per game

Its about time

I just don't really like him. Dude is a good player. I think the ROTY and early success got to his head and he acts way too arrogant now. Plus defending his dad is pretty gross. Don't really dislike the Texans as a team either so its nothing to do with that.

A little over a year ago people were saying Young/Stroud should hold out to avoid the Texans because of how much they were perceived as a dumpster fire.

Get the QB and everything else tends to figure itself out (unless you’re the chargers). NFL turnarounds happen lightning fast

I also think it's been clear since last off-season that Diggs wanted out of Buffalo. Seemed to be friction between him and the coaching staff there. Diggs now gets a fresh start and gets to move closer to his brother.
