So. Much. Insecurity

It’s almost as if getting the ball out of Lillard’s hands at all costs was the Pels defensive game plan or something.

Considering age and his position, I’d probably take Davis over anybody in the league if I was starting a team. He isn’t the current best, but i think we will see him be a consistent MVP candidate for the next decade. Plus I like building a team around a big man a la Duncan.

Unless the Pels get a PG that can play 70+ games or if Jrue suddenly is blessed with a new body, it almost doesn't matter what the Pels do, they'll be in the lottery next season again (if you guys get Hield though.... )

Almost like I came from the future. You guys get Buddy, deal him for Cousins, move Jrue over and bring in a traditional PG. This equals playoffs. Just like I said

Only thing he led them to was exit interviews.

I'm not even sure Dame is the leader on that team anymore, despite being the best player.

CJ was the one bringing it all series.

Big picture is AD has pretty much always been the better player when healthy. I always hesitate to put him in my top 5 bc of his history of injuries. Dame has generally played on better teams. AD finally has real help and it's showing.

Lillard has a total of one playoff series wins as the leader of the team. Same as AD.

This right here.

We saw the leader on that team in games 1-4, and it definitely showed up in game 4.

Dude goes by CJ McCollum

Looks to me like AD passed him up and he's two years younger. The trajectory of the two players matters.

When we're seeing both at about the same maturity level it's clear who's better.

Two years ago Lillard would've been the pick. Things done changed.

It's almost as if there is offense and defense when evaluating players in the NBA

this isnt even a discussion. If there was a draft right now, it would go likr this

bron
kd
ad

lillard wouldnt even be in the discussion. And personally i would take ad over kd, just because he brings more to the table
