So you’d take less offense. Less rebounding. Less defense. Less versatility. FOR muh leadership. I thought you were a talent evaluation type of guy?

Sorry boom, but for us experts this is a "what have you done for me lately" league

Can't have a superstar who disappears on his team in the playoffs, etc

I love Dame, I think he is a great player and a great leader. Without making a list I would say he's without a doubt top 20 and possibly top 15 in the NBA right now.

The difference is AD has the potential to end up as top 20 of all time.

He folded when he wasn’t hitting. He pouted & showed no emotion

Dame's a DAWG you can really go both ways and make strong arguments but I'd prefer the versatile, prodigious big man with exceptional shooting range AD's a legend of the game, there's a reason he has all the accolades he has dating back to high school and he's led the poorly run Pelicans to 2 WEST playoff appearances as its centerpiece you can't deny he translates to wins and team success

Davis is more talented player for player. But a guy like Dame will elevate his teammates to a level they would not reach playing alongside a guy like Davis.

He can't score 10 points in a playoff game

So you’re willing to take a worse player based on a metric that really can’t be measured bc none of us are in their locker rooms to know.

Leadership shows up in the win column. Davis lack of leadership has been apparent in the Pels record the last few years. Lillards too. When his team was in rebuild mode and he still lead them to playoffs.

AD's injuries and lack of help has accounted for the lack of wins. You see the level Jrue has been playing at lately. That dude has been injured and dealing with family issues the last three seasons. AD is better than Lillard. Every NBA GM is taking AD over Dame. Dame is great player but I can name 5 or 6 PG's I'd take over Dame. I can't name 5 PF/C I'd take over AD.

Not a Pels fan AT ALL. Never rooted for them in a single game ever. I'm just objective to know AD is on another level than Dame. Your Pels hate won't let you see it though.

In the first post we said we don’t look at a miniscule sample size. I am big picture.

You sure act like it. Hell I've only been to 3 Pels game since they started the franchise up in NOLA.

1. To see MJ that final Wiz season.

2. Random Rockets game.

3. Spurs a few years ago.... Courtside

Boom. Your trolling would be much better if you were occasionally self aware of consistent.

You said AD needed to "win a playoff game" in order to be "a leader". Well he not only won a playoff game he swept a series, dominated the entire series being elite at both ends of the floor.

Damian Lillard, in the same series, was awful. Couldn't figure out defense, pouted, couldn't adjust, and basically just gave up. Not what leaders do.

AND, just the other day, you said you had moved AD into your top 5 players in the NBA.

So just give it up. Take your L here. I'm trying to help you with your troll game.

I did make him top 5. That is a well deserved honor. And we said not even winning a playoff game was bare minimum to be a top 5 player. I think we can all agree that fair. If you haven’t won a mere playoff game where over half the league makes the playoffs, hard to say you are a top 5 player. That standard applies to all players. Consistently. Not just your Davis.
