Gary Thorne and Bill Clement were a great duo

Emerick and Clement were the first ESPN combo I remember.

I think Al Albert was the USA guy when USA did the playoffs way back In mid 80's

Ferraro and Emerick may be a good duo if Eddie O decides to scale back.

Panthers could easily be going for the sweep

Instead they're trying to even the series 2-2

Other than being an American, I can't figure out why Quick reminds me of Richter.

Maybe it's the not being a fan of the two teams and wanting them to lose??

The Laughton injury was terrifying. They say he's okay, thank God. That slide into boards was a terrible thing, but it did help the Flyers actually play hockey. They've been so obsessed with hitting and trying to get physical, that they've forgotten to actually try to win. The subdued atmosphere after that injury dissuaded both teams from engaging in any rough stuff, and the intensity level was dialed way down, for obvious reasons.

This meant the Caps didn't exploit the Flyers biggest weakness: their complete lack of discipline and terrible penalty kill. The Caps did tilt the ice for the next two periods and dominated shots and scoring chances. But Neuvirth had a nice game. Good on him. The team showed no panic, stuck to their game, and was pretty laid back afterwards. Play like that again, and the Caps win on home ice easily.

Butts don't start puckering unless the series goes back to Philly.

Fabian Brunnstrom was signed in the '08 offseason.

It wasn't supposed to be like this.
