How many of those ProBowl selections were as a replacement for Super Bowl bound Brady/Manning?

Yeah, it's a massive risk by the rams. The more I think about it, the more my mind's blown by how much they gave up. They must've really hated Goff

Notes on the Stafford deal, via @AlbertBreer:

*Panthers offered No. 8 pick + a late round choice.
*Washington offered No. 19 & a 3rd rounder.
*Colts never offered No. 21 but discussed other packages.
*49ers never made an official offer
*Jets checked in but talks didn’t go far.

They won 3 NFL Championships in the 50's so maybe you should do your homework old head.

Normally I’d agree but here’s the issue, we gotta assume the Rams didn’t know the other offers right?

Rams want to make a Super Bowl run in 2022 and need a better Qb. Options for Qbs are extremely limited, Stafford is out there and they want to jump.

I believe the Rams admitted they overpaid because they wanted to make the move.

If I was a Rams fan, I’d like it. At least an GM went out and made some active moves to help the team. We won’t know if it was worth it until 2024 or later.

If they win the Super Bowl next season then it’s worth it.

Not as horrible as the Panthers giving up #8 would have been. But goddamn, you Chiefs fans are annoying as all frick in this thread. I never realized your dicks were this small.

You’re the defending Super Bowl champs and going for the repeat in 6 days. Be better. frick.

That is worth a predicted 2 future 1sts that are likely in the 20s.

Panthers' would have been worse since they're nowhere near competing.

Doubt a lot of Texans fans thought they’d be giving up #3 overall to Miami as part of a trade for Tunsil

They overpaid to get rid of Goff, not get Stafford.

Goff that got the Rams a total of 9 draft picks in 5 years. Les Snead is a moron.

Except for the 2 first round picks, my price of a 3rd and a 7th was pretty close!

Yeah, I don’t get this at all. I kind of hope it’s bullshite. I get they didn’t like Teddy. And I get that coaches don’t get 5 years to turn teams around these days. (Btw, wtf are the Lions doing giving Campbell. 6-year-deal?). But I think Rhule did a really nice job in his 1st year, especially considering their best player basically missed the whole year. Wtf do they want with a 33-year-old QB at this point in only their 2nd year? So they can maybe go 8-8 instead of 6-10?

A couple of things came to mind: 1) they must not love any of the QBs in this draft after Lawrence and/or 2) Brady and Rhule know Brady probably isn’t gonna be there long enough to develop a rookie QB.
