If true this is huge. Depending on how high this went up I would expect to see major penalties for the organization (obviously in addition to any actual criminal charges filed). Damn. Gonna be interesting.

They bout to start hating on my Cardinals now since all we do is win, haters get outta here Astros were trash for the past 6 years
Where does this idea that they're the Yankees of the 90s come from? They've won exactly two championships in the last 30 years(once as a wild card and another where they won like 84 games), the same number of titles as other powerhouses like the Marlins and Blue Jays in that span. Historically there's no denying their success. But this "all we do is win" shite....come the frick on

Michael McCann @McCannSportsLaw
It's telling Major League Baseball is already calling it an "illegal breach" rather than an "alleged illegal breach." Someone broke the law.

2 for 2.
So it was the fans that did the hack? Man, we suck.

Just let the hate flow through you. This a great opportunity for you Cardinals haters to just work it all out

I actually would like to know what the breakdown is on "Cardinal haters" vs "Cardinal fan haters"
ETA: I'm sure there is a lot of overlap on the Venn diagram, but still.

Yeah we have to get all the hate out now. 2 months from now there won't be an MLB team in St Louis to hate

"Astros were trash for the past 6 years"
That makes it even more entertaining at the fact that "his Cardinals" had to resort to basically spying on one of the worst teams in baseball at the time.
Insecure much?

I agree. The posts earlier in this thread and bumping of other threads "looking for Cards posters" was bizarre.

How nervous are you right now? To know the only missouri team to win a championship in the last decade might be on probation?

I haven't gotten to read this thread yet but....
Media and others destroy Astros for rebuild of franchise. Franchise pleads patience, and we now see the plan beginning to come to fruition.
Media and others trash astros for not signing an injured pitcher to max deal. Pitcher tears UCL.
Media and others bash Astros for "allowing" their information to be compromised and released to the public only to be found that the "model franchise" in MLB is hacking into their systems because they're paranoid....
I just sit back and enjoy it.

I actually don't hate the Cardinals one bit. The most fun I've ever had at a baseball game was in St Louis. I just think the whole "winning machine" narrative is way overplayed
Posted on 6/16/15 at 12:44 pm to msutiger
To rekindle a previous STL sports tradition, part of the punishment will force the Cardinals to change their nickname to match the city's football team. Only in this case, the baseball RAMs will have a different meaning.

I didn't know this happened. But that's a weird thing to bash a franchise for.
