I have to think the punishment will be to lose draft picks and bonus pool money for a few years. Now I'm just anxious to see what actually happens.

Don't get me wrong, this may actually be a big deal, but as of now, the media shitstorm and butthurt Cardinals haters who finally have a real reason, even if only an allegation, to hate on the Cardinals organization is all a pretty big overreaction.
But that's media and that's human nature. We'll see how it shakes out. It's an embarrassment regardless. Luhnow must be laughing his arse off as he counts the trade secrets he stole but will never be caught for now.

the FBI has nothing to do with losing bonus pool $$ and draft picks. we are talking federal jail time

Seems like that would be the type of punishment to be expected. I just want details. I want to know the who,what,when,where and most importantly why. Some contradicting and vauge stuff making the rounds at this point. Once the details become clear then I want to see action to cull those responsible regardless of position or standing in the organization.

Right, but I'm more interested in the baseball ramifications. I'm interested to see who gets implicated legally, but their punishment is less interesting to me than the franchise's punishment.

I got out of a meeting and read this thread and It was very predictable. There is a lot of love for the Cardinals on the MSB. The best is that some posters here are trying to "round up" Cardinals fans to walk them to the virtual MSB gallows.
