I've already heard several radio personalities downplaying because "the guy didn't change his password". I think the Cardinals might get a bit of a pass at first.

Let me reiterate that some of these alleged accusations were going on while the Astros were one of the worst teams in the MLB, which makes it even funnier.

It is, but it happened at a time when everything about the Astros was being bashed. They could have cured cancer and some jackass would have ripped them for it.

i haven't seen cardinals fans this enraged since castro took his sweet time rounding the bases against the marlins.

I told people in the Trade rumors thread:
Luhnow burned a lot of bridges with people in Cardinal Org. It started when Walt went after Luhnow, and Luhnow won the power struggle, but Mo, was named GM, which Luhnow wanted badly. A huge divide was there.
Luhnow took some Cardinal personnel, a few who had some inner dealings in the org. Some bitter, lower rung people in org hated luhnow.
The perso nwho did this, had a list of all of the passwords the Cardinals used, and tried them on the network, and one of the worked(really Astros????). The dude looked at shite and wanted to wreck shite, but he was an office nerd, who knew nothing about hacking, but the worst part is that after he got into their network and found the files, he gave the password to a hackers website, which is how deadspin got their info on Astros inner dealings.
I doubt MO had anything to do with it, he got the GM job, he has ZERo reasons to be bitter.
But there were a few who Luhnow didnt bring with him, or didnt like Luhnow before, that decided to shite on him and the network.
Guy is fricked,
This has ZERO to do with stealing info, it's about a few bitter fricks, who wanted to get evens.

Who is enraged? Seems most Cards fans I know want to know more details. Also Cards are a cool 21 games over .500 after 63 games.

You don't think a butthurt, disgruntled employee hacking an oppositions database in an attempt to catch his former boss/coworker "stealing something" doesn't also set up for "Cardinal bashing"?

If it's proven that what they did was egregious and gave the team a clear competitive edge, they should get hammered hard. If it turns out to be nothing, I feel for this place once killz gets back.
