Which teams do y'all want in the 7th and 8th spots in each conference?

Dallas at 7 because I love me some Spurs/Mavs playoff matchups

Utah at 8 for a difference in styles

I do not care who they play in the playoffs as long as they get to the NBA Finals.

I agree. Who is going to effectively guard Kawhi Leonard?

Been saying this all year and got laughed at

Maybe it's because this GSW won the damn thing last year and is even better this year. The Spurs may be damn good, but the Warriors were the best team in the NBA and are now somehow outdoing themselves to become what is likely the best team in NBA history.

Like that matters. How anyone can objectively think anyone is going to beat GS is beyond me. You just have to watch them play this year to know they are going to run the playoffs unscathed.

Iggy can guard him.

If they can throw it back to 03 05 and play at a snail pace they can suffocate the Warriors and put an end to the 3 point gimmick for good

Iggy isn't agile enough. Klay is the only viable person to guard Kawhi.

Barnes will guard him most of the time

OKC would just require a bunch of virtuoso performances from Westbrook and KD

That's the thing. KD and Westbrook when they go off, the team is awful. Last time I checked, they are like 9-10 when both players score 25+. It needs to be a team effort if they want to beat the Warriors

OK Klay will guard him...either way Leonard will be able to get his shot...the midrange jumper.. spurs are a midrange jump shooting team..Parker, Aldridge, Leonard all midrange jump shooters.

GSW makes 12.8 3 per game,
Spurs make only 7.3 ..

That's a lot of points to make up.

KL is also particularly adroit at the three ball, but I do hear what you're saying.

If SA were to beat GSW (not likely), they'd have to do so by forcing the Dubs into inefficient 3 point shooting. Can't outscore them by getting into a 3 point shooting contest, so you gotta make up the points defensively somehow.

WAY easier said than done.
