Which teams do y'all want in the 7th and 8th spots in each conference?

I think the Spurs have a 30% chance, at best, to beat Golden State.
OKC has a better chance than that to beat San Antonio. And I'm assuming that's who the 2/3 matchup will be.
However, the Clippers could slide in as the 3 seed. And they have little chance to beat San Antonio, IMO.

And that's not me being an a-hole, i envisioned each team in the 7th/8th seed and the matchups, and I feel like I'm just completely indifferent on all of them, as they'll all be very quick series.

I'd like to see the Rockets get the 8.
They'd get swept by Golden State, but I think they could maybe make 2 of the games close.

Even when OKC wins the rebounding battle, especially on the offensive glass, they shoot damn near 50%, and they get fast break points, they STILL get blown out
OKC has played them damn near the toughest out of any of the contenders. Thought last night would be a lot worse outcome.
But...
The effort and defense is just not there for the Thunder to succeed at all this year
They have the offensive fire power to keep up with Golden State. Why Billy Donavan chooses to put in Andre Roberson and Kyle Fricking Singler to shoot three balls is one reason why our percentage is so low.
I think the Thunder had a +/- of like +12 when Morrow is in and the lineup goes smallball with KD at the 5. Yet, Billy has developed this habit of benching a player for the worst player in the league (K. Singler).
The turnovers are abysmal as well. Really, coach Donovan has no control over his player's discipline, hasn't motivated them to provide any sort of effort on defense, continually puts together horrendous lineups for being an "analytics" guy, and has continually choked in late game situations (10 games lost when they had the lead in the 4th this season alone).
Scotty Brooks must be sitting in front of the TV with a big fat grin on his face because Billy has taken this team from a Ferrari to a stumbling, bumbling clown car
This team (talent-wise) has the best chance to beat GSW in a 7 game series. Hope we get a shot at them, whether we fall to the 8th seed or meet them in the Conference Finals. Maybe they'll wake up

I want houston in the 7 spot against SA. Only west team the Spurs haven't faced in the playoffs in the Duncan era.

Wow I am surprised by this. I would have thought they would have met once. I say this every year. The Spurs always play the regular season getting ready for the playoffs. If they can play like they did a few years ago in the finals against the Heat, they can beat these warriors.

Of all the team in the west you want HOUSTON? Bless your heart.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. Have come close to playing each other a few times, but one or the other has faltered the previous round or houston missed the postseason altogether. Would be cool to finally have an I-10 series before Timmy hangs 'em up.

Houston ain't coming close to winning that series just like Portland or Utah ain't coming close to winning that series.

Somebody might scrape out a game in GS, but they are winning one in yours. And no one is winning two in GS. I give SA like a 10% chance of beating GS. OKC would just require a bunch of virtuoso performances from Westbrook and KD, and that's asking a lot. LAC and Hou are too retarded to do anything serious.

Watching Pop abuse Dwight mentally would be borderline erotic for the MSB

I don't know why so many people think OKC is the best chance to beat GS.
It's odd.
It's become the cliche belief because "they have Durant and Wesbrook" is the easy answer.
GS is a hooooorrible matchup for OKC.

Houston at 7. Could be a very entertaining series with SAS
Portland at 8. GS will destroy any 8 seed but Dame vs Curry will be fun
