Pretty much every sport.

I’m nowhere near as big into the NFL or NCAAFB as I used to be.

Never was really big into the NBA.

I just don’t have the drive to sit down and watch a full game anymore.

I feel that I have better things I should be doing.

You're still taking this way too hard. I can't remember who my 4th grade teacher was, much less who's dad was the damn baseball coach. I'm sorry one of the 30 baseball coaches in my town wasn't up to your standards.

Just because you say it doesn't make it correct. I think because you are just becoming a coach, you can't fathom why someone would find playing your sport of choice to be boring.

either you just outed yourself as someone who's never played baseball and has no idea about the game or you played under one of the stupidest coaches ever if he let you as a lefty catch. News flash, leftys dont catch because it would be super easy to steal 3rd on a left handed catcher. And 99% If coaches don't let leftys catch even in little league because why waste timeteaching a kid a position he will never play the second kids are allowed to steal your just wasting time he could be developing at an actual position. This is conning from an all state 1st baseman left hander who had college offers and is starting his first year coaching baseball this year way to out yourself dumbass. As I said before you suck

From this I assume you're also an English teacher

This is so childish, who cares? I am a lefty, but played in the outfield. Although, when I first started, I told my coach that I was right-handed because everyone else seemed to be right handed. I started off at SS (don't ask why), was terrible, and realized I wasn't playing with my dominant hand. I had a decent arm, but our 1B was awesome. But this was the first sport at a fairly young age.

I don't follow sports in general like I used to. I will checks scores, and I will listen to a baseball game if it's on the radio on the way home. I played football and basketball in HS, but I have lost all in pro sports, other than MLB. I used to follow the Lakers religiously. The NFL seemed to always bore me, but I loved CFB. Now, being older, not being able to play, and work has taken me away from watching sporting events.

That’s why MLB is dying. Our generation isn’t watching as much and the millennials don’t have the attention span

The game moves way too slow now and games are 3 hours. They are dying a slow death

Born in 1991. I've watched every live Braves game this season with the exception of maybe 2 or 3. The ones I've missed I've went back and watched. I grew up watching them on TBS, but I feel like now I enjoy watching games more than i did even when I was a kid. Idk why it's just relaxing. Yeah yeah it's 162 games, but I hate the "baseball is slow/boring" crowd. It's more of people just continuing to trash baseball, which turns the younger audience away. I do agree that MLB is the worst of the 3 big sports at marketing their stars. But it's more of a regional thing. Sucks when you have the same 6 or 8 teams on ESPN every week

Said that the MLB was dying on this board 4 years ago. It's garbage.

Sports you use to be a huge fan of, but now just average interest

MLB, my interest died with Griffey retiring. Now, I basically just keep up with the LSU guys in the majors/minors but really only pay attention to the sport as whole during the playoffs. I used to keep up throughout the year.

Used to be a huge NBA fan and watched probably 85% of all the Memphis Grizzlies games. After them deciding to tank last year and watching the competitive balance in the league almost completely disappear, I admit I have lost interest going forward.

Never really cared for college basketball all that much and have watched maybe a handful of NHL games in my life. Most of my sports following currently is limited to college football and college baseball. I watched all but a couple LSU baseball games this season and have done so ever since streaming, in some medium, became available 10 or so years ago.

My interest in the NFL has plummeted the last couple seasons as the safety rules have really diminished the defenses noticeably. It's just not as compelling a sport as it used to be. So many bad rules.

baseball is one of the most boring sports to watch if your not a part of the action. Only time I watch is Arkansas baseball and Yankee postseason.. I just really don't believe anything you said

It can also be pretty boring while playing. If you have the patience, great. I didn't.

MLB 100%. Used to love watching while growing up in the 90's with all the homers. I remember watching McGwire's 62nd bloop over the fence with my dad and cheering in the living room.

I just can't get into it anymore. I really can't put my finger on why.

NBA...huge Celtics fan as a kid, then jumped on the Jordan bandwagon during the 90's

MLB...diehard Braves fan from the early 80's thru the late 90's

NFL...I guess the Saints are my team...but I was over that loss to Minnesota within a minute of that abomination of a missed tackle.

Summer and winter Olympics during the 80's and mid 90's

Tennis....late 70's thru early 90's

I think LSU's rise to the '03 championship caused my interest in other sports to drop off the planet. I became so emotionally invested in the Tigers, that I had absolutely nothing left for any other sport.

Kinda sucks in a way that I really can't get excited about any sport not involving LSU and that excitement is dying down as well. I guess priorities change as you get older and you realize that no matter how hard you pull for your team.....you've got zero control over the outcome. Tend to focus on more things now where I have a little say so in how they turn out.
