that's becasue you weren't any good pville. Same reason you like soccer probably. Since all of the real athletes were playing actual sports like baseball, basketball and football; you were actually able to touch the field in soccer and so you thought Hey! This is fun!

College football has been my favorite sport/league since the late 90s, and last season was the first time ever that I wasn’t glued to my tv every Saturday, all day long.

I’m not sure if it’s because I have a toddler now and I’m just too busy, or my interest is slowly waning as it has in other sports/leagues.

MMA. I still follow it casually but having young kids makes it hard to follow. Plus there are way too many shows and weight classes to keep up with unless you are a hardcore fan

Actually, I was pretty decent. Usually played 1st base because I was left handed, but tried to be catcher the last year or two I played just so I could be involved more. Sitting on the bench while the other 8 guys hit wasn't exactly thrilling.

I actually played baseball, basketball, and soccer growing up. Made at least some form of all-star team in all of them growing up. Quit baseball around 5th grade to play more basketball and soccer. Quit basketball around 8th or 9th grade when my high school coach wanted me to decide on one or the other.

either you just outed yourself as someone who's never played baseball and has no idea about the game or you played under one of the stupidest coaches ever if he let you as a lefty catch. News flash, leftys dont catch because it would be super easy to steal 3rd on a left handed catcher. And 99% If coaches don't let leftys catch even in little league because why waste timeteaching a kid a position he will never play the second kids are allowed to steal your just wasting time he could be developing at an actual position. This is conning from an all state 1st baseman left hander who had college offers and is starting his first year coaching baseball this year way to out yourself dumbass. As I said before you suck

Damn, you are taking this way too seriously. Remember, this is 4th/5th grade we're talking about. I was just trying to get more of the ball.

I don't watch a single baseball game until the playoffs. Just can't get into it. As I've gotten older, I've lost interest as the guys I watched growing up have retired. Guys like Chipper, Griffey, & Jeter walking away kind of closed the book on that chapter.

Hockey, college football, NFL.

Hockey's last strike killed my interest. Once National Hockey Night was taken off of ESPN, I stopped watching. Watched my first hockey game live on a trip to Pittsburg last fall. I miss watching it.

College football, and NFL, I watch when it's on, but outside that, I really don't care all that much. If I watch, i am not nearly as engaged as I use to be. When the Saints and LSU lose, it doesn't really bother me all that much. It use to ruin my weekend.

Really hope you aren't taking shite this seriously with your team. Not letting a 10 year old try a position because of what his dominant hand is will likely turn him off from the sport.

Hell, I'd want all of my players to have some experience at every position.

Baseball. The style of play flat out sucks. It's boring as hell and teams are leaning in to make it more boring. Hell, teams are begging you to form a team of speedy, low-power guys who put the ball in play a ton, but no one will do it... not even teams near the bottom of the league in payroll and no hope of ever contending. You'd think at least ONE team would try and lose in a fun way, at least.

MLB and NASCAR.

Was a huge Braves fan for years. Tried to go to a few weekend series every summer. Then kids happened and it was just something on TV in the evenings. Then ditched cable and the only thing on TV now are kids shows on Netflix.

NASCAR I grew up watching. My previous job had a sponsorship tie in so I was sort of invested there on the back end seeing how all that works. We would hit up the local races every year with a group from work. Then several guys I followed all retired and it is hard to find races on TV. Just no real interest in it anymore.

The last four years I've been 13 hours ahead of central time, so I really have to make an effort to watch sports. I'll still stay up most of the night watching college football and the first block of Redzone games if I can swing it. I'll wake up any time for LSU football.

Listening to the radio stream of LSU baseball night games on Saturday and Sunday mornings is so nice and relaxing. That's one thing that is better about the time difference.

Everything else kind of fell by the wayside.

Pro Sports in general. Each for their own reasons that has been already mentioned here. If I am back in my hometown I will catch a game in any sport, but if I lived there, I probably wouldn't be a season ticket holder or anything.
