For me, MLB and NBA

Growing up till about 30, i was a die hard baseball fan, watching all 162 games, every pitch. I would get upset if my team didnt win.

Got married(no pics), had kids, and now its on while i do other things, but i cant remember the last time i watched a whole 9 inning game.

NBA kind of the same thing, im a casual fan until May.

Its pretty much all NCAA football and baseball and NFL for me now. Ive also really gotten interested in golf. I guess im just getting old

NBA ( huge fan as a kid in Jordan era)
CFB ( still watch but don’t live and die by each week like I did pre kids...although that’s sports in general) just usually don’t have a four plus hour block on Saturday afternoons at this point.

Have actually become a huge soccer fan since I’m up at 6:30-7 every sat/Sunday morning for the last 5 years. Started casually watching because I’d be up with the baby(s) and got really into it. Yeah I know the MSB hates soccer, gay, etc.

MLB for sure, seems to have happened to me this year. I used to watch 80-100 of the Braves games, read or watched recaps of Games I’ve missed, followed the farm system etc...

Just haven’t gotten into it this year other than looking up scores. I’ll try agai at the all star break

NFL is a good one

It’s like a soap opera now.

Baseball and college football.

Used be a big fan of baseball as a kid, but I haven't watched an MLB game in 18 years. Only sport I even got bored playing.

College football used to be by far my #1 sport (never been a fan of the NFL). Now, the only games I really plan on watching are Alabama games.

I remember watching some NBA back in the day (remember watching the bulls in the 90s), but I don't watch the NBA at all anymore.

That’s why MLB is dying. Our generation isn’t watching as much and the millennials don’t have the attention span

The game moves way too slow now and games are 3 hours. They are dying a slow death

To sum it up a little better, my interest in every sport I watch prior to 2008 has declined. Since 2008, my interest in hockey and soccer has skyrocketed.

I am one of these millennials (born in '87).

I used to be a huge fan of the Olympics but haven't given a shite about it for years. Sorry but it's hard to have a rooting interest in a bunch of sports and athletes that I don't care about. The IOC being corrupt as hell and screwing over these host cities doesn't help matters either.

MLB by far.

NBA to an extent- I’m 36 so I grew up during the Jordan era and used to follow the regular season religiously. Now I mostly follow just the playoffs. There’s a ton of players in the league that I don’t even know about. I still love basketball, and haven’t completely lost interest like I have in MLB.

College basketball- similar to nba. I just don’t have time for the regular season, but I’m all in on March madness. breakup of the big east and the 1 and done rule have killed the regular season interest for me. I was too young for the Patrick Ewing era big east, but mid 90s with iverson, kittles, Ray Allen was my favorite.

MLB, NBA and NFL regular seasons for me.

I will tune in for the playoffs, but I am more of a college football and basketball fan these. I watch throughout the season and playoffs, as well as follow recruiting year round.

Going to NHL hockey games has ruined my in person football experience. Yes there are two intermissions but there are only 3 media timeouts per period and they are less than two minutes per timeout. Plus the nonstop action helps. At football games, like Ohio State it feels like stop/start all the time. Also if you stop playing fantasy football you’ll probably give up on most of the NFL.

MLB won’t admit they have a problem.

Saw a SI article about how it’s dying and they said this year is the highest time between balls in play at almost 4 minutes

4 freaking minutes between balls in play. What a joke.

NFL and NBA

NFL-tired of the political BS. Now I enjoy having my Sundays free.

NBA-Super teams are pissing me off. Still will watch a little in the gym, but something needs to be done.
