I agree. I really like the show and it's the first local show I can remember really liking. I'd be happy if they shut the phone line down altogether though. I don't think it's possible to have a talk show in Baton Rouge without moronic callers.
ETA: I hate that they took away time from Van Pelt's slot and not the two horrible shows that come on earlier. I'm aware of the whole contractual protection thing but it still sucks.

I have always liked Ott and thought of him as the most sports knowledgable BR sports talk host. I didn't have the chance to listen but for a little bit, so I don't have the hate for all of his "buddies" like others do, but I guess when you're trying to fill 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, things could get pretty boring for the host.
I have heard the new show a couple of times. It sounds like Jimmy is back on his A-game and the 3 of them seem to work well together. They all have their own area of expertise that is helpful. I'm looking forward to some LSU baseball talk with Hannegriff and Ott. Also, I bet LSU football season with these guys will make for good shows.

Love the show, sucks that they have to take 3 of the best in BR and put them together and we only get 1 good show out of it. Wish Ponamsky would be on with Scone man or something like that.

I saw Hanagriff at chick-fil-a the other day. I wanted to tell him I love the show and I'm glad he's back on the radio full time, but I pussied out and decided not to bother him.

He was doing one his shows away from the studio and schmoozing up my boss. I asked him a question while he was off, he just looked at me like I was an idiot, waved me off, and leisurely walked back to the mic.
