Is there anything other than ESPN and Jordy Culotta? I certainly can’t stomach the morning show and afternoons on ESPN anymore!

Jordy was so good at ESPN, wish he would beef up his blocks better

Any other sports talk shows

T-Bob is great if you wanna catch up on sci-fi nerd shite. Beyond that, he doesn’t bring much to it.

Hot take- BR sports radio is better than 90% of small market college towns. Sorry Scott Van Pelt isn’t doing Baton Rouge sports radio.

So you’ve given a fair listen to 90% of small market college town radio?

Or are you just talking out of your arse?

I have always been impressed with BR sports radio. Its 100 times better than sports shows in NOLA. Moscona, Charlie, Ott and Culotta run circles around Garic, Asher and Gus. They certainly more knowledgeable than those Buffoons

Be thankful for what BR has. Living in Dallas, we have horrific sports talk. I listen to 104.5 on iHeart just to get good sports talk.

I personally think this is on of the better lineups in several years.

Tbob and Hester
Hunt and Hill
Hanny
Moscona

Eta: I could listen to Hannagriff all day

And speaking of that, how can NOLA with 2 pro teams turn out such shitty radio talent in this town? We have absolutely nothing as far as personalities in this town anymore. Hebert is the best we got….and that is not much. Radio has been dead in this city since Buddy passed. Baton Rouge —————————-> nola

Hanny is by far the most knowledgeable sports guy on the radio today in Louisiana.

That’s a terrible comparison. New Orleans has abysmal sports radio.

I listen to both Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans sports radio.

Prior to Ben Love leaving Lafayette radio, Lafayette had the best radio.

Now? It’s BR, Lafayette, NOLA. And Lafayette is absolute shite

Baton Rouge sports radio is the best in the state. New Orleans sucks, and Lafayette used to have that one guy that was pretty good. Cant talk for the rest of the state, but haven't heard about anybody else worthwhile.

One of my buddies used to be in the sports journo scene working in Mississippi and Texas and he says that BR has no reason to be as good as they are.

Hunt is so good. I caught the us show the other day and for the life of me I cannot figure out why they aren’t in at a better time.

Comparing BR to NOLA as a reason to say BR radio is good.. that’s a very bad barometer of excellence

I’ve traveled a fair bit and BR sports talk is miles better than similar or even larger sized markets such as Austin or Columbus.

Even WFAN in New York has gone through some ups and downs in recent years, though having Carton back has helped them out a lot.

T Bob and Hester seem to have transitioned to a YouTube show that also airs on the radio.

One gripe with Culotta is when they all start yelling at laughing in the mic at once, shite is loud and annoying. Overall probably the best local show though

I like Hunt. Seems pretty knowledgeable. He isn't obnoxious like muscona.

Their show is absolutely horrible and TBob has become unbearable to listen to. Just bad.

Hill is also really tough to sit through. They need to get someone better with Hunt.
