Saw a post on Reddit about how the Ravens should offer him a shorter deal (4 years, $200 million) with more guaranteed money ($160 million). It would be a fair compromise to both sides. Lamar gets more guaranteed money and a chance to hit free agency a year earlier. Ravens take less of a cap hit if Lamar’s play no longer justifies the money.

Apparently they offered him over 180 million guaranteed with this contract he turned down

The 133 million amount was what he got the day he signed

I’d take a ban bet on that teams would absolutely want a former league MVP in his prime. That’s silly

Yeah but will his prime parallel that of most QBs? I think there is an argument to be made that his prime will more likely resemble that of a burner WR or RB.

A guy with an IQ of 85 acting as his own agent in a 9 figure negotiation. Gotta love the NFL

He must be leaning heavily on Ricky Williams old agency, Master P’s No Limit Sports. Make the Ravens Say Uhh.

Been a while since we’ve had a good bump

Offer in the OP was 6 years 250 mil with 133 GTD

Reportedly just inked a 5 year extension for 260 mil with 185 GTD

Well apparently because he doesn't need any help to get the contract he wanted

According to reports he has the biggest contract but that isn't what he wanted?

I think the level of COPE we're about to witness will be otherworldly

It was reported for months that the hold up was guaranteed money. He wanted more than Watson. He settled for 185.

He got PAID but he did not get what he wanted overall
