Sounds like Saints are pursuing Derek Carr.

That would be a very good move for them. Not sure if you have to trade for him or not but that dolphins first pick seems about right.

I guess he's the best available qb?

No way they trade a first for Carr. 3rd-5th, sounds reasonable.

I'm not a fan of Carr but he's an upgrade over Winston and Dalton.

I would be fine with Carr if it only cost a 3rd round pick and only committed to him for 2 years financially.

If he plays really well next year, then extend.

Carr's contract is huge. $35mil 2023, $43mil 2024.

Would be nice if Payton were still here.

Have they made any offensive coaching moves?

Another possible Carr jacking for New Orleans.

I'll see myself out...

Speaking of hopes and dreams.

You would be a miracle GM because that's not how the NFL works.

Carr will be just good enough to not make playoffs but also not get an early draft pick the next year. Definitely a move the saints will make.

This would set us back at least three years. My hope is we draft someone like Hooker, regardless I don’t see any QB developing much under Allen.
