The reports said Varner, Morikowa, and Hovland too
Starting to get hard to trust them

I betcha it's only because Jay Monahan and the PGA have tried to make this about politics and the high moral ground. Your argument is simply everyone's rebuttal to that airhead.
Sure, as far as Monahan and the like are concerned. But I see that same argument made when regular people like you and me saying they don't like LIV for those reasons. Like if you buy products from China or get gas that comes from the middle east that you are hypocrite when normal people largely have no choice when it comes to where their products come from. The gas argument being the dumbest IMO...as if we even have the ability to shop at gas stations that only sell gas produced domestically. But I agree that when business entities take moral high grounds like that when they're already conducting business with the same people, yes that's very hypocritical.

Of course things change, but it's pretty clear Varner was going to do it and then changed his mind. The Morikowa reports were disputed the entire time, and hovland still seems to be unclear.
There will almost certainly be more players and you will almost certainly fid a way to say they suck.

Not really, the ones reported as rock solid have been rock solid. The ones that were disputed we knew that.

Why should they ban them?
In an effort to save the viability of the PGA tour?
Just for argument sake, say 9 of the top 10 players jump to LIV. Or 15 of the top 20 leave. Tournament sponsors aren't going to pour millions into a field consisting of Wyndham Clark and Joel Dahmen.

This is also interesting
If before this existed, we would have said these are the following groups of players behind an issue that has two sides, and you have to pick which side to defend without knowing the issue
it would have been a landslide who this board backed
Team A
Phil
Dj
Bryson
Sergio
Poulter
Reed
Brooks
Team B
Tiger
Jack
Rory
JT
Scottie
Rahm
Oh how the turns have tabledI suppose

Then that is on the PGA Tour of America not on the LIV. Players have another choice and they will go to highest bidder much like I compared it to a NIL and transfer portal in other thread. Players have always had a choice what tour to play, now there is an added one.

But we know the issue so your stupid point is stupid

And the players that support your side are the consensus douchebags and whiners of the Tour
Coincidence?

My position is I don't care if LIV succeeds or fails so I don't know what point you are trying to make

Funny how the Tour finds some $$$ all of the sudden.
It's almost as if Phil was right.

I know it's on the PGA tour to try and save the PGA tour.
I'm not saying that the LIV tour is wrong, or the players are wrong for playing there. I'm just saying the PGA tour needs to circle the wagons, and find a solution for their problem.

There have been some outlandish things said on both sides. Phil’s was the craziest and most ludicrous of all. 20 billion in digital assets

Also a rumor of Morikawa. That would be surprise.
Morikawa is gone. These stars are not going to let has beens and never will bes make 10x the amount of money they are making while only working seven weeks a year, 54 holes events. This was inevitable and it was comical when people said the stars will not go to LIV.

Should we tell you the extra money and tournaments coming from the PGA Tour wouldn't be there without LIV?

No, no. To 87 this is merely a coincidence.

Of course LIV and the PGL are big reasons for this new tournament push
Personally, I don’t like this new format either. Shittier for the fan. I don’t give a rats arse about players making more guaranteed money. I wish everything had to be earned
Every change being ushered in by LIV is shittier for us the consumer.

You are assuming many things here.
#1) That they play for years and years. No guarantee on that.
#2) That after there 3-4 year LIV contract is up that they can't return to the PGA tour. That is very much debatable.
#3) That LIV does not make it. If it does, they could be looking at long term multiples far exceeding the scenarios you are putting forth.
A bird in the hand is better than two in the bush here.
